ABOUT
About StephenStephen Perkins is a classically trained sculptor and painter. He studied with Henry Hensche at the Cape school of Art, the sculptors Leslie Posey and Walker Hancock, and painters Nelson Shanks and Cedric and Joanette Egeli. In addition, he also attended the Lyme Academy with instruction from Deane Keller. Stephen has won 5 National Sculpture Society scholarships along with the Jennewein Medal and the Barlett Prize also from the National Sculpture Society. Stephen currently teaches at The Grand Central Academy of Art in New York City. He also teaches workshops both nationally and internationally.
